Bekaert ZA is our Zinc-Aluminum coating consisting of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum, developed and produced exclusively by Bekaert. Salt spray tests performed according to ASTM B-117 have demonstrated corrosion resistance 3 times longer than Class 1 and as long as Class 3, but because we can achieve this longevity using a lighter coat weight, you save money.

You asked for it and we delivered! Our Innovation team has developed an attractive fence coating that lasts even longer then our ZA coating. ZA+ Paint is a two step composite coating that offers an attractive finish with an extended life expectancy. The base coat of Bekaert ZA will last up to 3 times longer than Class 1 and the same as Class 3 galvanized coating. To further improve the fences appearance and longevity, we have added a top coat of a special high adhesion, UV stabilized paint. This top coat gives each product an attractive, superior performing finish which seals and protects the ZA coating.
Our ZA+ Paint coating will have the same quality as our Cattleman®, Gaucho®, Solidlock® and Horseman® products that you expect from Bekaert. They will maintain all the benefits of the original products which include higher strength, easier installation, reduced maintenance and a longer life expectancy.
