Designed for permanent cost-efficient, temporary fencing needs and general farm/ranch jobs, our low carbon smooth wire is easier to work with, however it is prone to elongation over time compared to our 12.5 ga High Tensile Smooth Wire products. These products have a breaking load of 1,179 lbs. for 9 ga and 794 lbs. for 11 ga.
